Hours:          12 hours per week. Work schedules may include a mix of daytime, evening, and weekend hours; this is a year-round position.

Salary:          $ 8.50 per hour to start

Are you extremely organized and multi-task oriented? Do you have a high energy level?

The Fox River Valley Public Library District has openings for part-time Shelvers. Primary duties include re-shelving returned materials and maintaining order in our print and A/V collections.

The successful applicant will possess effective oral and written skills, the ability to alphabetize materials and willingness to learn how the order of the Dewey Decimal system works as well as be available to work a varied schedule.

Primary work location will be the Dundee Library at 555 Barrington Avenue, East Dundee, IL.
