Maniac Magee! By Jerry Spinelli
Great is kinda a lame word to describe this book but I really love it.  This book is about a boy named Maniac Magee his real name is Jefferey Magee but he got known as Maniac Magee when he did a great thing!  Well first he could run as fast as a cheetah, he could untie the knottiest knot ever known and he reunited the west and east together!  He made history!  But he used to live with his parents but they died in a trolley accident when the driver was drunk so he had to live with his aunt and uncle but they didn't love each other, they had two of everything!  Anyway this book is awesome!

30 Days of Night: Return to Barrow By Steve Niles
Plot:  It’s been years since the town of Barrow, Alaska was first attacked by the vampires.  Now, the new sheriff, Brian Kitka, has moved into the old Olemaun house with his son.  His real reason for moving here is to uncover the gory details of his brother and his family’s untimely deaths and what he finds will rock his and your world.  Filled with intriguing and clever plot twists and phenomenal art work the third installment definitely out shines its predecessors.  Don’t read it in the dark.

Kill Me, Kiss Me By Y-ong Yu Yi
Plot:  Tae Im is an average teenage girl/tomboy, but, in a strange twist her male cousin, Jung-Woo, looks Exactly like her.  When Tae discovers her favorite male model/crush Kun Kang attends Jung-Woo’s school she comes up with a plan…they switch places for a week.  Jung-Woo will pretend to be Tae and Tae will pretend to be Jung-Woo.  While dressed as her cousin, Tae learns quite a bit about Kun and that she might actually be falling for his friend Ga-Woon.  What ensues is wickedly funny comedy, a charming romance and wild fun.  The illustrations are impeccable and dazzling, true anime style.  I’d recommend this for mature and some what curious anime fans.

The Royal Diaries Series
They are books that explain the life of princesses from different countries.  I really enjoy reading these books (diaries) because it shows how royal families lived in the past.  They even show pictures of the princesses.  Some good ones are:  Eleanor, Mari Antoniette, Elisabeth, Jananara, Elizabeth I, and Cleopatra.  I really wish you try to read them.  They are awesome.

Nim's Island By Wendy Orr
Nim is a girl who lives on an island with her father.  The island is inhabited by many friendly animals.  One day, Nim's father, Jack, has to go out to sea to study plankton.  He leaves Nim behind on the island.  Before he leaves, he tells her what to do if a storm comes and if he gets an e-mail.  Once Jack leaves, Nim starts reading a book.  She is interrupted by an e-mail meant for Jack.  She replies and says he will be back later.  She goes back to her book and finds out that she was talking to a famous author.  This starts a great relationship.  Later in the book, Alex, the famous author, decides to go and rescue Nim, and Jack decides to come home.  But as they are coming home, a storm hits the island.  Will Alex be able to rescue Nim?  Will jack be able to get home?  I really like this book because Alex and Jack show determination to get to the island while Nim shows bravery being alone on that island.  Alex and Nim also show friendship when they talk with each other via e-mail.  I think these are all important qualities that all people should share.

Atonement By Ian McEwan
I loved this book.  It tells the tale of a young couple torn apart by a lie.  I loved the way the author wrote about the loss of love, you feel the couple yearn for one another.  You even get insight in the mind of the perpetrator, Briony, as she goes through the stages of a guilty conscience.  This book is for anyone who loves intense drama.

Twilight! By Erin Hunter
Twilight is the best book ever!  It's about a human named Bella who moves to Forks, Washington.  She goes to school and meets a guy named Edward Cullen who's really a vampire! (and goes sparkle in the sun) She falls in love with him but another vampire named James complicates things.  Be on Team Edward!

The Hangman's Curse   By Frank E. Perretti
The Hangman's Curse by Frank E. Perretti is an amazing book.  It is unlike most horror mystery books.  No words can describe how amazingly awesome this book is.  People who are easily scared and have arachnophobia should not read this book.
